What members get

CliniAtlas searches the medical literature for a clinical or research question and writes an answer linked to the sources it retrieved. It searches PubMed and Europe PMC, EMA product information and assessment reports, and clinical guidelines. Each source is labelled with its study type and level of evidence, so it is easier to judge how much weight it deserves, and a badge shows whether an answer is fully sourced or partly based on general medical knowledge.

For oncologists, that makes it useful for work such as:

  • Reviewing the evidence behind a particular therapy, including the pivotal trials and what they measured.
  • Catching up on the results of new studies in your field.
  • Checking what the EMA product information says about an oncology medicine.
  • Preparing a journal club or a teaching session with sources your colleagues can open.

Questions can be asked in Croatian, and the answer comes back in Croatian. The interface is available in Croatian too.

What CliniAtlas is for

CliniAtlas is a tool for literature search, education and professional evidence review. It is not intended for diagnosis, treatment selection, triage, monitoring, prognosis or patient-specific clinical decisions. As the Society notes in its announcement, the cited sources should be checked and the final judgement stays with the doctor.

Tell us what you need

We would like Society members to try CliniAtlas in their everyday work and tell us what helps and what does not. That feedback decides what we build next. CliniAtlas is developed by DiscensMachina, a spin-off of the University of Split School of Medicine, and we are glad to be working with the Croatian Oncological Society.
