# CliniAtlas

> CliniAtlas is an EU-hosted clinical evidence search platform for verified
> healthcare professionals, built in Split, Croatia, in collaboration with the
> University of Split School of Medicine. It runs agentic search across PubMed,
> Europe PMC, EMA labels and assessment reports, and clinical guidelines. Retrieved
> evidence has source links and study-type labels; general-knowledge guidance is
> marked separately. The application and stored data are in the EU (eu-central-1).
> AI processing may occur outside the EU through global AWS Bedrock routing, and
> search terms reach external source services. Free for verified clinicians and
> students. Answers come back in whatever language the question is asked in;
> the homepage and selected landing pages are available in English, French,
> Croatian, German, Italian, Spanish, and Polish.

CliniAtlas is not a patient-specific decision-support system. It publishes its
evaluation methodology so clinicians can audit how answers are produced. It is
positioned as an EU-hosted alternative for professionals who lost access to
OpenEvidence after its April 2026 EU/UK geoblock.
